Words from the Silica pen

I decided I'm posting this up here. Been working on the stories on and off and they might not be done in order but they are supposed to be readable in any order so that doesn't matter really.
This universe is based around the idea that any and all myths and legends are true. The main characters are everything from a Robot to an Angel and the antagonists are immortals and mad scientists. This was originally a one shot but then as I wrote  Hear♀ and s♂ul I made more and more references to a wider universe and then this was the result.
So far I have three parts planed and a big finale story that wraps everything up.

This lump of flesh is not my body.

It’s a shell.

A prison.

A cage.

My soul should fly free but I lay here in chains.

To fade away until there is nothing left.

This is an open letter to everyone I know.  

What is my identity?
I'm a brother, a son, a nephew, a cousin, a friend,an employee, a coworker, a dork, a geek, a gamer, a reader, a writer and many more. 
But are any of those things my identity?
No.
From where I'm standing right now an identity is what we identify ourselves as whether it matches to what the public sees us as or not.
In the last couple days I've been questioning just what my identity is. Not the identity the people around me have forced on me but the real person behind the facade.
Turns out that the person I thought I was doesn't exist.
I'm here to ask that while I'm not ready to explain just yet I want you to keep an open mind when I do. I'm not asking not to bat an eye when I do or anything. Just let me know you are still there for me if I need you.
I searched long and hard to get to this point in my life but I still don't fully understand it so don't rush me either; I'll tell everyone when I'm ready and not one second before.

I finally know what has been wrong all my life so don't ruin this for me please.

 

Telltale really make it clear they care about the customers and have this really informal attitude. Also they made all my favorite new games; Puzzle agent, Back to the Future and the new Sam and Max games. Oh and did I mention the 75% off almost everything sale they just had that meant I got stuff for dirt cheep. So for now I’m Silica and don’t go doing anything I wouldn’t.

 

Not sure if this counts as a moment but…well just watch the clip. This was because the suplex was supposed to only work on human size enemies but they forgot to turn the immunity on for the Phantom Train. So for now I’m Silica and don’t go doing anything I wouldn’t.

 

Ok so the Professor Layton games have great acting and that is what I love about them. You know other than the great puzzles, interesting plots and quirky but amazing characters. But the third game has all that and the cast has really settled into their roles AND Yuri Lowenthal. Seriously without the voice acting the final scene would never have been anywhere near as powerful.

 

Not much to say except HOLY CRYSTAL DRAGON JESUS THIS LOOKS AWESOME! So for now I’m Silica and don’t go doing anything I wouldn’t.

 

OK I could give to Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy 6 again but I thought I would let you off today especially since they both have posts in the next few days as well. So what did I pick and why? Let’s dig in shall we?

yeah I'm jumping on the bandwagon here so sue me

 

Ok who thought I was going to talk about Portal 2 here? Well no Dreamfall way out strips that in terms of disappoint. I love the longest journey so much. It’s one of my fav point and click adventures so you know I was salivating at the thought of a sequel but weary that there wasn’t much to really go on to create another story. So let’s dig in shall we?

Surprised this didn’t go to Chrono Trigger? Well let me put it like this; Chrono Trigger is the insanely hot girl that is great in bed but Final Fantasy 6 is the cute nerdy chick you can have the deep and meaningful conversation with. So you can see why I picked Chrono Trigger *wink wink*. No seriously, if I could have a threesome with both girls I would... What was I talking about again? Oh yeah the story of Final Fantasy 6.

 Do I really have to say I love RPGs for their stories and characters after the previous days posts? No? Good because amoung other tyhings getting WMW off the ground has kinda burned me out a bit so this is all you are getting for today

 

 

OK so first I need to explain why this is not another Tifa love letter. This comes down to the difference between character and protagonist; as a character Tifa is great and dynamic but as a protagonist not so much. I am probably remembering it wrong but I don’t really remember Tifa being the integrated to the plot as other characters so that’s why it’s not her this time.
